Taos Solar Festival

Location

Downtown Taos at Kit Carson Memorial Park. Gates open at 10:30 am each day Solar Village is free and open to the public.

In addition to the free portion of the Festival, there are numerous concerts scheduled each year with tickets available for purchase on-line at solarfest.com, at various outlets around the state, and at the venues themselves.

There is always a star studded line up of musical acts. This past year featured:

Fiestas De Taos

Join the town of Taos for the month of July for the Feast days of Santiago & Santa Ana. Fiestas de Taos is a community celebration honoring two saints, Santiago and Santa Ana and themed “Returning to Sacred Places” for the 2010 celebration.It is an amazing time to witness the traditions carried on by these amazing tribes through song and dance. read more

San Geronimo Day

at Taos Pueblo

Approximately 150 people live within the Pueblo full time. Other families owning homes in the North or South buildings live in summer homes near their fields, and in more modern homes outside the old walls but still within Pueblo land. There are over 1900 Taos Indians living on Taos Pueblo lands. read more
